"Our
school had Chris into our building to kick off our year, and our
message of "Have a Heart" and living your life with strong morals and
good character. He provided some excellent large group assemblies
in the morning for our primary (K-2) and intermediate (3-5). The
ssemblies sent a strong message that was both age and student
appropriate. In the afternoon, Chris provided individualized
grade level workshops. Chris' high energy and enthusiasm kept the
students entertained throughout the entire show as he walked them
through the Pillars of Good Character through the use of
puppetry, magic and hilarious behaviour! The "magic" words used
throughout the show were "Choose, Lead & Succeed". I HIGHLY
recommend that you "Choose" to invite Chris into your building for his
character building assemblies, watch Chris as he "Leads" the students
through the Pillars of Good Character, and finally see your students
"Succeed" as individuals in the classroom and your community as they
remember and live out Chris' message on a daily basis!"
Andy Fekete, Teacher
Clow Elementary, Naperville, IL
Q. What kind of assembly do you provide?
A: Our clients say it for us:
"Stone
School students, teachers, and staff could not have been more pleased
with Chris' performance! His engaging assembly maintained the
attention of all our students, grades EC-5, through his delightful use
of humor using characters students could easily relate to. More
importantly, his message of good character & citizenship was well
received by all. The kids can not stop talking about the Magic
Storyteller!"

Q: Why Character Education?
A: "To educate a person in mind and not in morals is to
educate a menace to society."
President Theodore
Roosevelt
Our
programs were teaching these themes and concepts long before it became
as popular as they are now. They've been called "lifeskills",
"character education", "core values"...the messages and meanings behind
the titles are all the same.
It really boils down to respecting or treating others as you would like
to be respected or treated. Being a good, honest person who
cooperates with others. Believing in yourself and the abilities of
others. Being a good citizen. Thinking about what you do and say
before you do and say it. Spending quality time in healthy quantities
together as a family. These ideals are what Character Education is all
about.
So why Character Education? Because we believe that without passing on
these qualities to our young people, our nation will be in trouble. We
want to be a support to schools and families who share this truth. We
want to echo the values your school teaches and instills. We want to
creatively strengthen your school's message, the values of your
school's families and help make our country stronger.
Q: Are your programs educationally based?
A: YES! Our programs meet your state curriculum guidelines,
often on multiple levels. Also, I have 20 years experience teaching
and motivating children. I also have Early Child Ed. and Child Psych.
credits! I approach my show as a teacher designing a lesson plan
first, then add the entertainment as a way to get the lesson across and
make a lasting impact!
The most common comments I hear after a show:
"Your program tied directly into our curriculum, thank you!"
"I love how clear your messages are!"
"Wow! You kept their attention for the entire time!"
"Were you ever a teacher?"
"When can we re-book?" (no kidding!)
My educational
messages are based on current educational standards and can be
customized to align with your specific curriculum. My programs are
100% GUARANTEED TO ASSURE YOU THAT YOU WILL GET THE BEST PROGRAM
AVAILABLE!
Q: Is Chris just a storyteller?
A:
No. While Chris will tell a few stories (which are interactive with the
audience), his show is very FAST PACED and full of variety such as
magic, ventriloquism and loads of ORIGINAL comedy! Chris has been a
successful comedic writer (he writes all his own scripts and is
considered a visiting author by many clients) for twenty years. "The
Magic Storyteller" is simply the name of the character he plays on
stage.
Q: What will I, the client, experience?
A: A professional performer who is:

* Detail oriented for optimum client/audience satisfaction.
* Qualified to perform. A full-time professional entertainer.
* Uniquely qualified to educate and motivate students.

speaker and educator with 20 years of experience who specializes in
childrens' educational programming full-time.
Q: Will I have a lot of details to deal with?
A: No. I bring my own: SOUND SYSTEM, MICROPHONE, BACKDROP & PROPS!
All I need is an address, a table, two folding chairs, an electrical outlet and a place to park.
Sit back, relax and enjoy!!!
Q: Do you offer support materials for teachers and posters?
A: Yes. I provide:
* Attractive, eye-catching full-color posters
* Announcement letters to be duplicated and sent home (for Family Night)
* Discussion & Activity Guide (upon request)

Q: Will the show keep the children's attention?
A:
Yes. One of the first things I hear are amazed educators asking me how
I keep their undivided attention for so long. My program is designed to
keep their attention the entire time and get a great and enduring
educational message across through fun and laughter.
My show has been described as a "roller coaster ride" that keeps them glued to the edge of their seats!
I am also well known for my special "assembly exit" that literally has
your students going back to class quietly, orderly and ready to learn!
Q: Will I get results?
A: YES, absolutely!
My clients often comment about their students remembering my messages
for years after I've been there. Many times a teacher has told me that
they loved the program and also overheard their students quoting my
messages to other students long after I've gone. Our programs have a
money-back guarantee, we believe that strongly in our product...and
most importantly, our clients believe that strongly and have let us
know it!
Q: What is an Educational Motivator?
A: An Educational Motivator is a professional that will entertain
students while simultaneously educating them with topics such as the
importance of reading, good character habits, not bullying nor being
the victim of bullying, and saying no to drugs. My technique combines
teaching while entertaining and is highly praised by hundreds of
Principals and Teachers as one of the best assemblies they've ever had!
Q: Why should we choose Magic Storyteller Assembly Programs?
A: Because my entire career, since I was very young, has pointed
directly to educating through entertainment and motivational speaking.
My wife and I have dedicated our lives to providing the best quality
educational school programs possible. Every year we update our
programs, both in theatrical material and especially message content.

perfectly balances a strong, clear message that matches your school's
curriculum with a strong, engaging, mesmerizing theatrical quality
entertainment production that is perfectly priced to fit your schools
budgetary & educational needs.
Q: What does a program or programs cost?
A: This is of course what it "boils down to". While our programs are rated among the top ten in the nation, we won't
"break the bank". We have various price packages available. Call now,
let us know the details and we'll work out a program package that fits

Tips For Hiring a Great Performer :
1. Beware the "Cheap Performer": You WILL get what you pay for!
2. Hire a full-time performer. I am proud to be a full-time performer
and my wife Jill is proud to be a full-time coordinator for Magic
Storyteller..and we are of course proud to be full-time parents.
Full-timers are full-time because we are great at what we do and we are
in demand. We make our clients proud!
3. Make sure the performer has an online schedule so you know they are working and for convenience of scheduling your program.
You'll see we have a working schedule, and you'll see we keep very busy!
4. References & Feedback Quotes: Beware the performer who does not
have feedback or references on their site! Also, make sure that
feedback comes with names and locations so you can actually contact
them...and so you know that it's real! Please feel free to look at our
references and feedback. You'll see it's very real...and very positive!
5. Anyone can say they have a "character" or "reading" program or
similar educational program. Look at their program description..and
most importantly...contact them and quiz them on what makes their
program educational! Make sure that the program you invite to your
school or library is of the educational standards your students deserve
and worth the time of your teachers! We know you'll be happy with the
fact that our programs meet your state curriculum guidelines and in
fact go above and beyond the norm for significantly educational AND
entertaining programs that keep your student's attention and tie
extremely clear and concise lessons into the entire production.
6. Make sure the program you choose has a money-back satisfaction
guarantee like ours! If they don't offer this guarantee..then make
sure you hire a program that does! A quality program will offer this
because they are "the real deal". We know you and your students will
love our progams..guaranteed!
7. Make sure the program and performer you pick will make you an event
planning hero! While we know everyone has a budget, make sure you
don't simply pick a performer based on "price shopping". You want a
performer with a program that not only fits your budget, but will
deliver a program that will make your clients proud of you! Our
program does just that...and has for thousands of clients over
thousands of programs for many, many years! Join our family of
satisfied clients and let us take the burden of planning an educational
assembly or family program from your shoulders and deliver a great
production that will make you into a hero and have your clientel
thanking you for a long time to come!
